What is sales-based repricing?
Only about 10-20% of the products offered by retailers are sold regularly. On the one hand, this is simply due to seasonal demand for many products, but on the other hand, it is also due to prices that are too high compared to other sellers on the web.
Due to lack of time and poor evaluation capabilities, these products are often disregarded and forgotten. However, their optimization and lost potential are huge, because by using our sales-based repricing, on average 50% of the items achieve a regular sale again.
How does sales-based repricing work?
With sales-based repricing, you can optimize slow sold items, newly launched products, and products that are to be sold off based on existing or target sales figures. To get started, all you need are min. and max. prices.
Then you define the number of sales to be achieved in a certain period of time, e.g. one sale in the next 7 days for products that have not been sold at all in the last weeks or months.
When the sales target is reached through the optimizations of our repricing software, our algorithms automatically kick in to generate further sales with a higher margin.
